Susan Goulet has been creating mixed-media portraits for over 25 years. Utilizing inks, pastels and watercolors, creating these one-of a kind portraits of Hollywood luminaries. Each image has a life of it's own. Detail and color add to these otherwise black and white images according to the mood the piece dictates. We love the way that these works delight others - Each portrait takes several hours to complete. Her intense, decades-long interest in vintage film informs her work - if a portrait doesn't closely resemble the artist as well as retain the integrity and aura of that performer, the piece goes into the trash. Blending her love of art and passion for film  she creates incredible works for us all to enjoy
